Staff members are provided continuing education opportunities through conferences, in-depth self-studies and internal seminars. Following an introductory orientation, new employees enter a formal mentoring program called GUIDE (Guidance, Understanding, Information, Direction and Encouragement) promotes growth and success at PYA. Working with a mentor, associates learn the culture, core values and fundamental components that contribute to the success and uniqueness of PYA.

Informal conversation with other employees and guidance from staff-level professionals, assigned to recent graduates as Peer Guides, ensure a smooth transition from campus to career.

Outside the firm, our people have a variety of interests. Weekends will find them hiking in the Smokies, coaching a youth football or soccer team, running a marathon, attending a concert, volunteering with charitable organizations, hitting the links or just spending time with their families.
