Ed Pershing and Doug Yoakley were on the partnership track with a 'Big Eight' accounting firm in the early 1980s. But the two young CPAs dreamed of founding their own company. Twenty-five years later, the 'Big Eight' is down to the 'Final Four,' and Pershing Yoakley & Associates has grown to become one of the Southeast's largest accounting and consulting firms.
